This “availability” includes:<ul><li>Active participation in the discussion forum;</li><li>Timely grading of assignments and providing quality feedback;</li><li>Being available outside of regular class meetings to address student’s questions and concerns</li></ul>Adjuncts will be provided course syllabi with recommended course texts prior to beginning the teaching assignment. Modifications of syllabi are possible with approval of the Department Chair. Position Qualifications:<ul><li>Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, statistics, or experimental psychology depending on the course taught.</li><li>Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Neuropsychology, diversity, social psychology, cognitive psychology, cognitive therapy, and behavioral therapy. Expertise in Neuropsychology preferred.</li><li>Graduate of an APA accredited doctoral program (if degree is in clinical psychology).</li><li>Certain courses require licensure as a psychologist.</li><li>Previous teaching experience (3 years preferred).</li><li>Exemplary professional experience.</li><li>Engagement in research and scholarship (preferred).</li><li>Strong commitment to academic excellence, research, community service, and diversity.</li></ul>The Dallas campus is located in Richardson, TX. Additionally, adjunct faculty must have recent (past four years) teaching experience with a record of teaching a minimum of four courses (same course multiple times is acceptable). Graduate teaching experience is highly preferred.
