<li>Cleans bathroom walls, floors, and fixtures; replenishes bathroom supplies and stock closets with supplies for contract service workers; responds to all emergency calls about custodial services in assigned areas.</li>
<li>Washes windows, polishes furniture and cleans woodwork in assigned areas.</li>
<li>Checks hallways and stairways for graffiti and debris.</li>
<li>Empties trash cans and cleans containers.</li>
<li>Vacuums carpets.</li>
<li>Picks up paper and debris on ground.</li>
<li>May perform other duties assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Successful completion of eighth grade. 
</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
</li>
<li>A background check will be required for the successful candidate.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures. 
</li>
<li>Knowledge of the materials and equipment used in custodial and minor maintenance work. 
</li>
<li>Ability to follow simple instructions. 
</li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the students, the public and other employees. 
</li>
<li>Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and convincingly.</li>
