POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists Principal Investigator(s) in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses in coordination with statistical team.

  • Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols;
  • Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection;
  • Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies;
  • Works with statistical team to perform analyses;
  • Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development;
  • Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs;
  • Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. May write reports to present at meeting;
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
  • May require off-campus site visits.


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Coursework in Psychology preferred
  • Major in Neuroscience is preferred
  • Experience of working in a Neuroscience Laboratory preferred
  • Experience with software programs such as excel, SSPS, and matlab preferred
  • Experience working with children preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent organizational, oral, written and analytical communications skills; strong database management and clear understanding of clinical and research databases
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac operating systems
