All ranks will be considered. The faculty member will have the opportunity to teach residents, engage in research, and participate in clinical program development. Specific area of focus will primarily be Hand Surgery, but micro-breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, oncologic and traumatic reconstruction, and an aesthetic practice will also be available for the faculty member. The Hand Center is a collaborative venture between the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Patient visits are approaching 12,000 per year and Hand Therapy is embedded into the clinic with over 1,000 visits per month. All aspects of hand surgery are addressed, including trauma, congenital, rheumatoid, and reconstructive surgery. The governance of the Division of Plastic Surgery is under Departmental leadership (Barry Inabnet, MD), which allows synergism between divisions and a robust environment for our residency program, a 6-year integrated residency program with two new residents added annually.
