We are currently sourcing for a Sourcing Specialist to work in Westlake, TX. <h3>The Role</h3> The Procurement as a Service (PaaS) team is responsible for all types of competitive sourcing including renewals, new products and services, existing product renewals (e.g. professional services, hardware, telecom, software, and cloud). The successful candidate will have a strategic mentality while working across the team and our business groups to provide Fidelity the best price and terms while mitigating risk. The individual will have strong communications skills as they partner with internal partners, Fidelity leaders, and suppliers to achieve stronger scale and efficiency. <h3>The Team</h3> PaaS helps business units make thoughtful purchasing decisions that reduce risk and improve value for the firm. In this role you will assist associates that engage PaaS as they look to work with a new vendor or make changes to a current vendor relationship. The person will directly, or indirectly, engage and negotiate with large and small vendors. As a leader within a deal team, this person will collaborate with business unit product managers, contract managers, vendor managers, risk, ESG, legal, and finance to develop sourcing strategies. <h3>The Expertise You Have</h3> <ul> <li>Some knowledge of or experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing including commercial and contract negotiations </li><li>Ability to influence cross-functional project teams through complex projects </li><li>Proactive management of multiple supplier relationships and ability to work well under pressure </li><li>BS/BA in business administration </li></ul> <h3>The Skills You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Ability to influence various project team members </li><li>Some background in negotiation, vendor management or product management including performance oversight </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Prefers an environment of strong collaboration and teamwork </li><li>Detail oriented with a focus on continuous skills improvement </li><li>Passion and enthusiasm for driving optimum business outcomes </li><li>Desire to lead complex negotiations and performing financial, technical, commercial and performance evaluations of suppliers </li><li>Excellent planning and organizational skills </li><li>Strong customer focus and collaboration/teamwork skills </li></ul> <h3>The Value You Deliver</h3> <ul> <li>Lead the sourcing, negotiations, contracting and procurement process across different Fidelity business divisions </li><li>Engage and regularly collaborate with various members across PaaS and Business units </li><li>Work to achieve outstanding pricing with suppliers on negotiations </li><li>Prepare RF(x) and lead teams in the source selection process </li></ul>
