The Schedule
- Hours: 6–12 hours per week (3 hours per day, 2-4 days per week). Occasional extra hours when we travel.
- Standard Shift: Between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, but must be able to adjust an hour or two forward or backward for medical appointments.
- Availability: Must be available at least 2 days a week (Tuesday–Sunday). Note: Occasional early starts (7:30 AM or 8:00 AM) are needed for medical appointments.

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate part-time caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman who lives with us. If you are looking for a steady, long-term opportunity in a welcoming home, this could be a perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly companionship. This client is intelligent, engaged, and has plans and goals he needs to talk out and get assistance with.
- Assist with personal grooming, hair washing, getting in the shower, etc.
- Prepare light meals and handle light cleaning/organizing.
- Assist with activities of daily living like making appointments, ordering groceries, etc.
- Drive to occasional appointments in your own vehicle (must be able to accommodate a folding manual wheelchair).
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Reliable transportation and a vehicle that you can physically place a folding wheelchair in.
- Completely comfortable around large dogs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check (required by our care agency).
- Willingness to go through onboarding at an agency that requires regular training tests, CPR and First Aid certifications, and TB tests.
