Work with the Resident Services Director to implement appropriate activities.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Report regularly to the Executive Director to provide status reports and engage in strategic planning.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop and maintain positive working relationships with physicians.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement a general staff training program.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In conjunction with the Memory Care Director, implement a dementia specific staff orientation and training program for all employees.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Implement a medication training program.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Train staff using appropriate training materials.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Participate in community surveys.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Meet with families/residents during the admissions process.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure rooms are ready for new residents.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Report any suspicion or evidence of elder abuse, mistreatment or neglect as outlined in Policies and Procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;What are we looking for?&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You must have current&nbsp;Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Have at least two years’ experience in resident care in assisted living.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to maintain and update effective service plans.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to supervise care staff.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and community staff.&nbsp;●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Be in good health, and physically mental and capable of performing assigned tasks.
