<h3>Job Description:</h3><p><strong>Principal, Data Management Operations – Hong Kong L6</strong></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The Global Data Services (GDS) team within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) is a global, investment data management organization that specializes in the sourcing, analysis, integration, management and distribution of security, index, portfolio, holdings and investment analytics data. GDS provides these data services for reference, evaluative, performance and analytical data in support of global investment decision making organizations. </p><p>The Senior Manager will manage the day-to-day operational activities including oversight of daily workload distribution to ensure helpdesk and project assignments are equitable, challenging, and completed in an accurate and timely manner. The Senior Manager will work with business partners to resolve complex data inquiries while providing high level of customer service. Senior Manager, Data Management Operations

<h3>Job Description:</h3><ul><li><strong>Risk Monitoring</strong>: development, production, interpretation of risk management reporting. Devise ad hoc reporting as necessary to meet the needs of the business function. (20%)</li><li><strong>Risk Analysis</strong>: Provide risk analysis as pertains to counterparty exposure measures. Identify potential sources of operational and counterparty risk assessment error. Applies judgment in the assessment of project risks, escalates problems in a timely manner, and formulates methods for issue resolution. Research includes investigation of channels and principal inputs to the key risk measures of CRA. (20%)</li><li><strong>Process Building and Innovation</strong>: Translate business goals and objectives into risk action plans and initiatives. Evaluate current processes and procedures. Initiate proposals and plans for improvements. Ensure the collaboration of key stakeholders. Lead development efforts and follow through to implementation. (20%)</li><li><strong>Consult and Advocate</strong>: apply advanced knowledge of risk management practices as pertains to counterparty risk management. Effectively communicate issues and advise relevant parties as appropriate, this includes interactions with members and representatives of all trading areas, trading operations areas, common data resource management teams, external agents, CRA analysts and management, Asset Management Technology analysts and developers. Act as company subject matter expert for information on CRA operations providing consultation across business units. (15%)</li><li><strong>Data Management</strong>: contributes to the maintenance and integrity of both CRA proprietary data and common reference data. Must be attentive to detail and accuracy. Ensure high quality risk reporting/monitoring environment.
