This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Natural Sciences Department. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers instruction on the topics related to Physics.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.</li>
<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.</li>
<li>Participates in departmental and college committees; and provides outreach service to the community.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assign by Department Head/Dean.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>18 graduate semester hours in Physics plus a Master's degree or a Master's degree with a major in Physics.</li>

Job Summary
This is a part-time grant-funded position within the Student Affairs Department. The Saluqi Pantry Attendant will assist in The Pantry to help serve the students of Southwest Tennessee Community College who are in need of items from the Pantry at various locations. This position will be expected to work 25 hours per week. The Pantry is a vital resource dedicated to supporting Southwest students who are facing food insecurity and financial challenges. It provides perishable and non-perishable food items to help ensure that no student has to choose between their education and their next meal.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Monitor the day-to-day tasks of the Saluqi Pantry as assigned by the Project Director in collaboration with the Social Services Coordinator</li>
<li>Take weekly inventory of food pantry items and ensure items are in stock</li>
<li>Partner with the Social Services Coordinator to manage work-study students as needed</li>
<li>Assist with events and workshops in the Saluqi pantry as needed</li>
<li>Other tasks as assigned by supervisors</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
