As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation.</p><p>This position will serve as a construction manager responsible for assisting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) execute its infrastructure construction, maintenance and repair program, which generally consists of the life cycle planning and execution of construction, maintenance and repair along the borders of the United States.</p><p>The construction manager shall have experience in project and construction management including planning, acquisition, execution, controlling and closing of projects. A background in design and or construction management is required. Responsibilities include:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and end-user device issues</li><li>Provide support via phone, remote access, and Service Desk tools</li><li>Log, track, and document all issues and resolutions in ServiceNow</li><li>Ensure tickets are resolved within established SLAs and documented thoroughly</li><li>Support standard desktop and corporate applications</li><li>Perform triage and collaborate with other teams to identify root causes and resolutions</li><li>Maintain and manage asset inventory and device configurations</li><li>Create and maintain knowledge base documentation</li><li>Support users in both Windows 11 and macOS/iOS environments</li><li>Attend department, project, and team meetings</li><li>Lift, move, install, and relocate computer equipment such as monitors, printers, and peripherals</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science or related technical field</li><li>Available to work 10–12 weeks beginning June 2026</li><li>Authorized to work in the United States for any employer</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal, customer service, and information-gathering skills</li><li>Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities</li><li>Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities</li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation</li><li>Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times</li><li>Work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., schedule to be determined</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Desired Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with macOS, Windows 10, and Microsoft 365</li><li>Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy</li><li>Interest in gaining hands-on IT experience across Service Desk, Security, Networking, or other IT service areas</li><li>Prior IT or technical support experience is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Other Information</strong></p><ul><li>All intern positions at LMI are paid positions.</li></ul><h4><br>LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
