General Duties:
This adjunct instructional position will provide high-quality, competency-based instruction in Anatomy &amp; Physiology to prepare students for careers in healthcare and related fields.
Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions:

<li>Deliver engaging lectures and demonstration sessions in accordance with the program curriculum and guidelines.</li>
<li>Develop and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.</li>
<li>Evaluate and record student performance, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of trends and developments in Anatomy &amp; Physiology and related healthcare fields.</li>
<li>Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.</li>
<li>Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve instructional quality and student learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the classroom.</li>
<li>Contribute to program accreditation efforts and institutional assessment activities.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of student records and institutional information.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Coordinator.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Nursing and an unencumbered Tennessee Registered Nursing License. &nbsp;
Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp; 
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Nursing and an unencumbered Tennessee Registered Nursing License. &nbsp;Three years of Community College teaching experience.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Travel to multiple campuses as assigned</li>
<li>Advise and mentor students about academic and career goals with the direct assistance of a mentor</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, curriculum chair, and academic leadership about curricular and programmatic issues and needs</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, administration and staff to support the students, strategic plan, goals and business operations of the college; Work collegially as part of both discipline-specific and multidisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Stay abreast of current developments in the teaching discipline</li>
<li>Assist in keeping instructional resources current with the direct assistance of a mentor</li>
<li>Support curricular and co-curricular activities within the college; Participate in graduation exercises</li>
<li>Teach a 15-hour load per semester (Fall and Spring); Teach an 8-hour load in summer</li>
<li>Post and maintain office hours which provide adequate time for academic advisement with students; out-of-class meetings with students and colleagues; and faculty, division, and departmental meetings</li>
