ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Public Affairs division promotes the agency’s key role in equipping all candidates and voters to power a fairer and more open democracy in New York City. We engage New Yorkers, inform them about elections, and boost their civic participation in the democratic process. Within Public Affairs, the Partnerships and Outreach unit works to build partnerships across the city to disseminate voting information, deliver accessible voter education, and conduct direct to voter outreach. The intention of this team’s work is to create pathways for all New Yorkers to gain trustworthy and accessible information and education around voting and democracy. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking two Engagement Coordinators to join the Neighborhoods Team, which is focused on building trusting relationships with community partners and delivering in-language voter education to voters that speak a language other than English (LOTE) in low voter turnout neighborhoods. The Neighborhoods Team works with community-based organizations, faith-based institutions, libraries, businesses, local groups, and other community partners to disseminate key election information and offer educational workshops covering topics such as Why Vote, How to Vote, Voting Rights, Voter Protections, and more. The Engagement Coordinators will play a critical role in enhancing our civic engagement education and services for community-based organizations in the NYC Votes priority neighborhoods of South Bronx, North &amp; Central Queens, or East New York. Each Coordinator will take leadership over the implementation of education and engagement strategy in one of these neighborhoods. The role will also support the Partnerships and Outreach team in building and maintaining strong internal systems to organize and track partnership development. The Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Neighborhoods Team to identify and forge relationships with key stakeholders. They will be tasked with understanding, tracking, and meeting community needs through the provision of resources and materials, education delivery, event execution, among other engagement and education approaches. The new Product Strategy vertical will be responsible for creating the overall roadmap for tech modernization and process improvements; prioritize tech projects to pursue and liaise between technical engineers and subject matter experts; and align tech projects with the agency’s strategic plan and objectives. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Project Manager at the Campaign Finance Board (CFB), this role will be responsible for overseeing team processes that deliver complex, enterprise-grade applications. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Operations and Finance division is responsible for the financial, procurement &amp; administrative services that support agency-wide operations. The Operation and Finance division consists of the following units: (1) Support &amp; Logistics, (2) Financial Services, (3) Procurement and Contract Management, and (4) Budget and Operations. The New York City Campaign Finance Board is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance and provide support with managing the CFB’s Fiscal and Accounts Payable Operations. Additionally, they will ensure that all processes align with city-mandated directives, among other responsibilities. This role is essential as Accounts Payable continues to experience increased transaction volume, more complex vendor requirements, and heightened expectations related to timeliness, accuracy, and compliance. The Financial Analyst will focus primarily on strengthening and overseeing the agency’s Accounts Payables operations – including invoice review and processing, vendor communication, data validation, and coordination with Procurement, OMB, and FMS. This position will also support improvements to AP workflows, contribute to internal control enhancements, assist with reconciliation and year-end reporting, and ensure that all payment processes meet fiscal accountability and audit standards. JOB DESCRIPTION The selected candidate for this role will work closely with different divisions to gain a thorough understanding of each unit's responsibilities. They will be expected to fully comprehend the scope of operations within each division, how these functions align with the agency's mission, and how the financial responsibilities of the Accounts Payable (AP) unit relate to program needs.
