The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology would like to hire a qualified Psychometrist. The Psychometrist administers and scores neuropsychological testing and cognitive assessments in research and clinical settings. Collects applicable data and participates in related activities correlating to collaborative studies run through the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Assists with data entry, auditing, and discrepancy corrections. Coordinates patient information, tracks study participants, distributes participant payments, and obtains participant consent.
Job Summary
Administers and scores neuropsychological testing and cognitive assessments while adhering to research protocols. Collects applicable data and participates in related activities correlating to clinical trials, collaborative studies, and conducted programs. Assists with data entry, auditing, and discrepancy corrections. Coordinates patient information, tracks study participants, distributes participant payments, and obtains participant contents.
Essential Functions
•Administers and scores neuropsychological testing and cognitive assessments while adhering to research protocols or clinical standards.
•Participates in research related activities in conjunction with clinical trials/collaborative studies/programs being conducted.
• Assists with data entry, data auditing, and data discrepancy corrections.
•Coordinates study visits and works collaboratively with interdisciplinary study teams
• Provides supervision for research assistant volunteers, including one-on-one meetings
•Tracks study participants, recruits participants, and distributes participant payments.
• Obtains proper consents for potential research participants.
• Attends weekly meetings and monthly lab meetings.
• Contributes to manuscripts, conference presentation projects, with opportunities to lead projects as appropriate
