RESPONSIBILITIES

As a System Verification and Test Engineer at Echodyne, you will be hands-on with our radar and software systems, ensuring our products meet rigorous internal requirements and customer expectations. Because detection and tracking of Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) are a key application for our radars, you will pilot UAS and lead small teams of pilots in the field, relying on clear flight team communication to ensure safe and effective test execution. Beyond day-to-day testing, you will develop and deploy specialized test equipment and help continuously improve our processes, methodologies, and safety culture. This is a hands-on role that blends engineering, leadership, and fieldwork, offering the opportunity to directly shape the way our cutting-edge radar systems are proven against some of the most challenging real-world threats.

  • Develop and deploy test equipment necessary for verification testing
  • Execute test procedures, collect test data, and document test results
  • Operate Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) and hold a leadership position in the UAS operations and safety team
