Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for ensuring execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) on the shop floor by coordinating material availability, monitoring production flow, and resolving constraints to meet on-time delivery and drive efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute and monitor daily/weekly production against MPS; escalate risks and support recovery plans.
• Ensure material availability; coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehouse to resolve shortages.
• Manage WIP, material movements, and ERP/MRP transactions with accuracy.
• Monitor production flow, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous movement of work.
• Track delivery commitments and support customer on-time delivery.
• Participate in Tier/QRQC meetings to communicate status and risks.
• Identify root causes of delays and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• This role requires direct, hands-on involvement in product manufacturing, with about 50% of time spent building on the production floor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Basic Qualifications :
• High School or GED
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, etc.) and Excel.
• Understanding scheduling, inventory, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on the shop floor with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in aerospace, MRO, or regulated environments.
• Lean / Six Sigma knowledge.
• Familiarity with Tier management and visual production systems.
• Basic understanding of capacity vs. demand.
