Position Summary
- Generate production/purchase plans that ensure CFR with an optimum inventory level.
- Ensure SAP orders are correctly planned and sequenced.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute short term production/purchasing planning.
- Execute production/purchasing planning in SAP.
- Daily follow up to exception messages.
- Eliminate past requirements.
- Generate a production plan that supports business DEMAND, optimizing lines capacity and efficiency, according to the agreed shutdowns, test runs, qualifications, etc. The only valid production plan is the one generated by SAP MPS and will be uploaded in a “digital board.”
- Ensure operations can visualize the daily production plan.
- Release SAP process/purchase orders.
- Use SAP auto leveling to level lines capacity.
- Ensure a production plan that minimizes inventory remnants during material transitions for new products or material launches.
- Ensure a production plan that optimizes inventory according to the stablished production cycles agreed in the site operating strategy.
- Constantly review planned orders outside of the planning time fence.
- Define Fixed Planning Zone.
- Ensure SAP production/purchase requirements are planned DAILY according to the agreed fixed zone requirements.
- Ensure changes inside the panning fixed zone, are business driven, documented, and approved.
- Responsible for maintaining his/her Master Data.
- Maintain SAP master data updated and valid.
- Updates Safety Stock parameter in SAP on the corresponding DC and updates every Quarter.

Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Proven experience in purchase planning or supply chain planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong analytical skills (data driven).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Identify business process opportunities and implement improvements.
- Strong strategic and business sense.
- Strong SAP and Excel skillset.
- Flexible – looking to work in a less structured, less ‘corporate’, fast moving, dynamic and rapidly growing business.
