Job Summary
This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) term faculty position in the Mechatronics Technology program in the Technologies Department. The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, and occasionally on the weekends on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. A faculty member performs all other duties as directed by the Department Chair, Dean of Business and Technologies, Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development, or the President or designee.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>All full-time personnel, including faculty, shall be required to devote a minimum of 37.5 hours per week to their duties and shall maintain appropriate office hours as determined by the President.</li>
<li>Teach a minimum of 15 teaching load equivalents (TLE) each term per academic year via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities as assigned. Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, and digital learning courses as required.</li>
<li>Prepares and delivers lectures on topics of the Mechatronics Technology program.</li>
<li>Participates in student advising on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues while utilizing all resources within the college for guidance of students.</li>
<li>Maintain required office hours and availability to students, could include advising, mentoring, tutoring, or other student support activities.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, assignments, tests, and papers; and keep students apprised of their progress by observation and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other required records in compliance with college policies and federal FERPA regulations and submit required documents on time and in the prescribed format. Provide records in a timely manner as requested by Department Chair/Administration.</li>

<li>Participate in assessment of course, program, and institutional outcomes, including annual Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Planning, Academic Program Reviews, Academic Audits, and other Programmatic Accreditation as applicable.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Associate degree in industrial engineering technology, industrial technology, mechanical engineering technology, mechanical technology, electrical/electronic engineering technology, electrical/electronic technology, or a closely-related field and demonstrated competencies or experience in the field. 
</li>
<li>Documented industry training in automation equipment (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc) Industry recognized mechatronics certifications or the ability to attain them within six months of hire (e.g., Allen Bradley, Yaskawa, SACA Siemens, Fanuc or others) 
</li>
<li>Applicants should have industrial maintenance experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical drive components, AC/DC machinery and wiring, and programmable logic controllers (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens preferred), VFDs, process control equipment.

Director, Full Stack Engineering

A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Faculty also provide academic advising and facilitate student success. Technology tools are routinely used to communicate with and support students.

<h3>Job Description:</h3>Director, External Audit EngagementThe RoleThe Fidelity Enterprise Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Product Area is seeking a Director, External Audit Engagement to play a leadership role within ECS to ensure successful engagements with independent third-party audit firms. Such third-party firms are hired to assess Fidelity’s control environment and attest to the design and operation of cybersecurity controls, following industry-standard frameworks. The Director will introduce ECS product areas to the requirements within the certification frameworks and will work with line managers to ensure that controls are designed in accordance with framework requirements and are operating in accordance with defined procedures. As 3rd party assessments are conducted, the Director will assist product area teams as needed with gathering evidence to demonstrate control effectiveness and will work to resolve or explain potential exceptions. The Director will oversee the timely issuance of draft and final reports attesting to Fidelity’s cybersecurity control environment. Throughout the engagements the Director will work closely with Enterprise Technology and Risk Analysis (ETRA) External Audit Center of Excellence and with relevant BU information technology organizations.Success in this role will be demonstrated by well-managed external audit engagements resulting in unqualified opinions and/or certifications of Fidelity’s cyber control environment. These audit engagements and frameworks cover SOC1/2/3, ISO 27001, NIST CSF/800-53, HITRUST, and PCI-DSS, among others. The successful incumbent will also have familiarity with laws and regulations which impose information security requirements on Fidelity’s businesses, including HIPAA, GLBA, FFIEC, CFTC, and GDPR, to name a few. This will permit the successful incumbent to work with colleagues in GRC to coordinate compliance activities across ECS product areas.
