Title: Director of Construction Technology Solutions
Campus Location:&nbsp;Morristown Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.)
Job Purpose:&nbsp;This position aims to manage the Construction Technology Solutions department of the Workforce Training division. The incumbent meets with local industry leaders and associations to determine, assess, and prepare/provide training solutions for those organizations. This position works with part-time instructors to provide training for programs related to the construction &amp; technology industries.
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Meets with local industry to determine training needs; supervises delivery of programs as requested. Facilitates customized programs.</li>
<li>Monitors all ongoing classes and programs and amends curricula. Provides instruction as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for finding new solutions to generate additional enrollment for the department. This includes new materials, grant support, expense reductions, and various other partnerships. Manages Construction Technology Solutions finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and approving expenses.</li>
<li>Recruits and provides direction and administrative supervision for instructors within the unit to help generate enrollment while complying with federal and state laws, regulations, and college policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborates with agencies funding students for training, submits documentation to funding agencies for approval of workforce training, and maintains required approval procedures, updating them when needed.&nbsp;</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Seven years’ experience in lieu of degree).

Job Summary
Provides classroom/lab instruction and counseling for students in their chosen field of study. Administers his/her assigned program and public service to the community and its employers. Reports to the Vice President and ultimately the President.
Job Duties

<li>% - 1. Instructs students, utilizing lesson plans developed per the approved curriculum utilizing accepted instructional practices. 2. Counsels students pursuant to school policies/procedures, accepted workplace behaviors and procurement of jobs in their chosen field. 3. Collects and/or analyzes data pursuant to class performance including, but not limited to, test scores, attendance, drop outs, placements, and general student satisfaction. Takes action as indicated. 4. Participates in professional development activities to ensure a continuous upgrading of technical and instructional skills. 5. Provides technical and teaching expertise for local employers needing assistance. 6. Consults with area educational institutions in matters of articulation, curriculum development, special activities, etc. 7. Formulates, under the guidance of the President, program budgets as assigned. 8. Recommends for purchase, program supplies and equipment necessary for classroom excellence. 9. Facilitates the activities of the occupational advisory committee to ensure timely, constructive input for the program. 10. Facilitates and/or participates in student campus activities. 11. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate of diploma in instructional area or equivalent training with credentials in related field. Minimum three (3) years of employment experience in the occupation to be taught.

Job Summary
This is a full-time, academic, faculty term appointment in the Allied Health Department. The Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The instructor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. 
Job Duties

<li>Prepares and delivers lectures.</li>
<li>Coordinating clinical activities.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, assignments, tests, and papers; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking advice on class work, assignments, papers, and others.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records.</li>
<li>Maintains current license/certification in profession.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Baccalaureate degree required (BSRT preferred). 
</li>
<li>Progress towards a Master’s degree with completion in accordance with JRCERT accreditation requirement deadlines. 
</li>
<li>Two (2) years experience as an instructor preferred. 
</li>
<li>Has an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification in Radiologic Technology. 
</li>
<li>Equivalent of three (3) years full-time experience in the professional discipline. 
</li>
<li>A background check will be required for the successful candidate.</li>

      Faculty - Radiologic Technology
    

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Engineering Systems Technology adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned chair/dean. This position reports to the Chair of Business &amp; Technology and the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.
Requirements of the Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
Working Conditions: Sedentary: Desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environment controls to assure health and comfort.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Engineering Systems Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, or related field with related, relevant experience.
Ability to communicate effective with students and other college personnel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Administrative Coordinator, the Zoom Proctor is responsible for monitoring Zoom rooms, including distributing and collecting students’ assignments, proctoring quizzes, and troubleshooting Zoom equipment issues by following directions given by appropriate IT and technical support personnel. This is not a remote position.
Job Duties
• Monitors Zoom Room, including distributing or collecting students’ assignments, proctoring quizzes/exams, and troubleshooting Zoom equipment issues by following directions given by appropriate IT technical support personnel.
• Provides Zoom training to faculty and appropriate staff on the assigned campus.
• Assists students with questions and minor technical issues associated with the Learning Resource Center.
• Assists faculty, the campus director, and other personnel, as needed (providing instructional supplies, making copies, creating and posting signage, preparing and sending interoffice mail, answering the phones, etc.)
• Greets, directs, and assists visitors and students, including directions to appropriate classroom or campus building as assigned.
• Provides classroom or laboratory access as requested by the instructor(s).
• Performs first-level diagnosis and troubleshooting support for end-users of technologies supported by the College’s Media Services and IT units.
• Assists with multimedia system technology installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and provides support to end-users.
• Assists with preventative maintenance and inventory of on-site computer, multimedia equipment and peripheral devices.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent • Six months of clerical and/or customer service experience 
Preferred Qualifications
• An associate degree from an accredited institution • Three months' school or work experience related to computer use, including troubleshooting and maintenance • Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
