Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications
• AS degree with 3-5 years of experience. • Bachelors in Computer Information Systems or related field with 1-3 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• A working knowledge of desktop hardware and software, common operating systems such as Windows 11, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS services. Title: Adjunct Instructor – Administrative Professional Technology (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in&nbsp;Administrative Professional Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s Degree in Business Education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Three years’ related industry experience
College level teaching experience
Microsoft Office Certifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Rate of Pay: $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour
