Ensures that all venues are well-maintained, safe, secure and efficiently managed.</li><li>Develops an in-depth knowledge of the facilities in the portfolio, particularly with respect to complex features including glass, lighting and shade systems, HVAC systems and interior and exterior materials.</li><li>Partnering with the Deputy Director, sets short- and long-range goals and priorities for facilities management. Job Description BSCP is at an exciting juncture of growth, and we are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial fundraising professional to grow and lead our development program. As the first Associate Director of Development and Donor Engagement, you will be important in driving our mission by securing philanthropic support, building lasting relationships with funders, and advancing donor engagement efforts. This highly independent role reports directly to the Executive Director, under the leadership of the Office for Culture and Community Engagement&nbsp;(OCCE) at Harvard Medical School. It offers an opportunity to shape the future of BSCP’s development program. The organizational budget is approximately $1.5 million annually, which is raised yearly from private philanthropy. 
&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and lead BSCP’s overall development strategy to grow philanthropic support in alignment with best practices; create annual plan and calendar.</li><li>Lead all day-to-day activities for fundraising, including identifying new funding opportunities, managing donor communications, and creating case materials.</li><li>Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate, individual, and institutional donors; design and implement a donor stewardship program.</li><li>Serve as liaison to the BSCP Board Development Committee; engage Board members in fundraising efforts and donor outreach.</li><li>Plan and execute fundraising events, such as the annual Evening of Hope gala, in collaboration with the Board, event co-chairs, and host committees.</li><li>Research prospective donors, foundations, and companies; manage submission of proposals, grant requests, and funding inquiries.</li><li>Oversee the implementation of donor-management software, ensuring smooth gift processing and reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with OCCE to identify and pursue co-sponsored funding opportunities.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for funding, donations, and fundraising campaign inquiries.</li><li>Oversee the implementation and integration of BSCP's new donor-management software, including developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless gift processing, timely acknowledgments, and accurate reporting for enhanced donor engagement and operational efficiency.</li></ul> Qualifications Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in development, fundraising, or donor engagement.</li></ul>
