The Director of Institutional Effectiveness will coordinate, monitor and evaluate planning efforts of Southwest Tennessee Community College’s functional units. This position plays a key role in ensuring decisions are data-driven with demonstrated evidence-based improvement which is central to Southwest Commitment to student success and core values. This is also includes providing oversight and support for programmatic evaluation activities. The Director works with administration across the College to help ensure that academic, student support, and administrative units target meaningful outcomes that support and align to the colleges strategic plan; and utilize assessments that yield valid results supporting continuous improvement. In conjunction with providing oversight for functional unit planning and evaluation activities, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness will serve as the college’s SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison. In this capacity, the Director acts as the primary resource for ensuring continuous compliance with all SACSCOC standards and for promoting ongoing professional development related to accreditation requirements. The Director is responsible for monitoring and documenting institutional policies, procedures, and practices to ensure adherence to accreditation expectations, and will provide guidance to academic units seeking to obtain or maintain discipline-specific accreditations. As the College’s official liaison to SACSCOC, the Director will coordinate all required reports, submissions, substantive changes, and accreditation visits. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and delivery of high-quality accreditation narratives, reports, prospectuses, and related documentation to support institutional compliance.</li>
<li>Identify gaps in accreditation standards compliance and recommend corrective actions.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY The Campus Director provides strategic leadership for the North Davidson campus, managing site administration, academic operations and student support services while building partnerships to strengthen enrollment and student success.

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Financial Aid provides strategic leadership and oversight of all federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, supports student access and success, and aligns financial aid operations with institutional enrollment and retention goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and implements financial aid policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Oversees the awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation of Title IV, state, and institutional aid. Supervises and trains financial aid staff, ensuring cross-training and professional development. Monitors and manages the financial aid budget, including forecasting and fund utilization. Ensures compliance with Return of Title IV (R2T4), Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and verification processes. Leads strategic initiatives to improve financial aid delivery and support enrollment management goals. Coordinates with Admissions, Registrar, and Student Accounts to ensure seamless student support.
Prepares and submits federal and state reports, including FISAP, IPEDS, and TBR extracts; maintains institutional eligibility through the Program Participation Agreement (PPA); develops the annual Cost of Attendance (COA); and serves as the institution’s Primary Destination Point Administrator (DPA) for federal financial aid systems. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development supports the strategic mission of the Workforce Development Department and reports to the External Affairs Division. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development maintains knowledge of regional labor market trends, employer needs, and regional funding priorities to develop and deliver high-quality, relevant training programs. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development provides leadership to the Workforce Training and Development Division and collaborates in providing access to new and expanded workforce training opportunities and designing and delivering comprehensive pathways to employment. This includes but is not limited to (1) personnel management, (2) assisting with budget management, (3) class planning and scheduling, (4) internal and external reporting, (5) data management, and (6) employer relations. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development meets with new and existing businesses and industry leaders with the goal of identifying the need for new programs and new workforce training opportunities, as well as establishing new business and industry partnerships. A key role of this position is staying abreast of emerging and new industries in the region by collaborating with Economic Development Organizations and local and regional government entities. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director of Workforce Development is responsible for articulating the mission of the Dyersburg State Community College Workforce Development department to prospective students and businesses in various settings, including information sessions, industry meetings, etc. This position cooperates with internal and external constituents in a broad context of operations and planning. This position is responsible for short-term, non-credit programs and project management of those said programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
