The Counselor is expected to carry out the mission and philosophy of Caron Treatment Centers in his/her daily work routine and to act as a catalyst for positive change in the therapeutic process of the patient’s treatment episode.&nbsp;</li><li>Case management – overall coordination of a patient’s care while in Level 1 outpatient services and/or Recovery Support services, including the integration of family sessions, communication with referral sources, assessment of patient progress pre-and post-evaluation, discharge planning and proactive communication to the clinical team regarding special treatment needs and procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for assessment activities (level of care evaluation, orientation, psychosocial interview, integrated summary) – a data-driven clinical function to determine eligibility for and placement in a level of treatment and/or recovery support services based on admission criteria.
