The Dental Therapist Senior will assist the dentist in 4-handed dentistry during dental procedures. Will chart for the dentist in an electronic dental record. Will set up and break down dental operatories and properly disinfect. Will chart for the dentist in an electronic record and obtain patient medical info, vitals, prescribed digital radio graphs and help with overall patient flow. Will place sealants, temporary restorations, composites and amalgams with minimal adjustment by the dentist. Will pack cord, take opposing impressions, bite registration, fabricate temporary crowns and bridge work and pour and trim diagnostic models. Will be responsible for dental clinic equipment maintenance and keeping accurate and up-to-date logbooks including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks. As a fitness and wellness coordinator, you will work under the supervision of the assistant director of fitness and wellness to oversee the daily operations of SCADfit, monitor the fitness center floor, and assist students with the development of fitness plans. You will serve as the head staff member while on duty, responsible for equipment organization, maintenance, and orders; enforcement of all policies and procedures; and supervision of the front desk. Additional responsibilities include the implementation of fitness programs, instruction of at least two weekly exercise classes, and development of working relationships with internal and external vendors to support initiatives.
