This position will utilize a wide range of analytical and radiochemical disciplines to support the advancement of novel targeted radiopharmaceuticals from the R&amp;D phase through clinical development to GMP commercial radiopharmaceutical production.&nbsp; Additional responsibilities may include the onboarding of new technologies, process development, routine equipment maintenance, GMP operations &amp; QC support, and future facility expansion projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include the following.&nbsp; Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Execute independently radiochemical and analytical methods.</li><li>Support the technical transfer of radiochemical methods from other RayzeBio and third-party sites to the Indianapolis facility. </li><li>Support development work related to RayzeBio’s drug product pipeline and programs.</li><li>Manage third party vendors in support of analytical and laboratory equipment. </li><li>Draft GMP documentation including but not limited to SOP’s, forms, and reports.</li><li>Support activities related to hot cells, gloveboxes, and production cleanrooms.</li><li>Ensure compliance with NRC, EH&amp;S and US/EU GMP regulatory guidelines as required.</li><li>Less than 5% travel required.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>BS 3+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience.</li><li>MS 1+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience.</li><li>PhD 0+ years of experience in Radiochemistry or other scientific equivalent work experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience working with radioactive materials.</li><li>Experience with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is highly desirable.</li></ul><h4>Skills and Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Experience with radiometal labeling or radiopharmaceutical synthesis</li><li>Experience with wet radiochemistry and/or ion-exchange column separations</li><li>Experience with analytical methods (HPLC, gamma spec, alpha spec, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Radio-TLC, etc.)</li><li>Experience working with radioactive materials, alpha emitters highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent professional ethics, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.</li><li>Able to work both independently and in a group setting.</li></ul>Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this&nbsp;job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
