<h4>How you'll change lives</h4>As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease.<h4>What you'll be doing</h4>Patient care. You'll work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include completing and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients during treatment. They communicate and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team in developing the care plan for each participant, based on OT assessments.Job Description<ul><li>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for initial OT evaluations, reassessments and the development of a treatment plan which is consistent with participant needs.</li><li>Determines participant’s mental and cognitive status, and takes into account psycho-social issues pertaining to occupational therapy program.</li><li>Completes Home safety Assessments for initial, annual, and change in status.</li><li>Identifies DME in the home, and follows policy to log inventory and /or repair/replace damaged equipment.</li><li>Acts as an advisor to the Recreation staff in planning and implementing the physical activity program for participants.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in occupational therapy required.</li><li>Must maintain valid license to practice occupational therapy in Massachusetts.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years geriatric experience in health care or community services setting.
