This role performs pre- and post-analytical sorting of specimens for distribution to the appropriate areas, assists with record keeping such as filing and scanning, and provides support as needed and defined by those to whom the position reports. The Junior Specimen Processor will spend most of their time opening incoming specimen shipments from various sources (pathology laboratories, hospitals, clinics, etc.) and matching them with the appropriate documents.
