Position Summary: Pellissippi State Community College is seeking qualified contract instructors (s) to teach HVAC training classes for its Workforce and Community Development Department. We are specifically seeking an instructor for evening classes to be taught on an ongoing basis.
 Instructors work on a part-time, temporary contract to provide educational instruction for a specific class or workforce training. Instructors are expected to be subject matter experts on their topic, will be responsible for delivery of instruction, and may be responsible for developing instructional materials. Current and retired industry leaders and past military personnel with technical training and the ability to teach are strongly encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions:
55% Serve as the initial customer service contact for Student Services.
<ul>
<li>Assist students/parents with all onboarding/enrollment questions. Assess student needs and provide direct assistance to students in helping them apply to Pellissippi State, enroll in classes, collect documents, apply for funding and help them understand the appropriate forms, processes, and procesdures for all areas of Enrollment Services.</li>
<li>Provide individual assistance to students including but not limited to analyzing and troubleshooting individual needs and assisting with on-line self-service accounts (view/change their personal information, apply for financial aid: FAFSA, state aid and scholarship applications, complete needed requirements).</li>
