Minimum Faculty Qualifications

Assure that Quality Assessment &amp; Performance Improvement Program is current at all times as delegated.</li><li>Oversee patient (and/or care partner) training in the practice of Peritoneal Dialysis or Home Hemodialysis.</li><li>Ensure proper infection control monitoring, implementation, and recording.Assist in on-call system oversight for patients and ensure patients have access to nursing support at all times.</li><li>Assist, when necessary, with disinfection of equipment and supplies including bicarbonate delivery systems and dialysis machines.</li><li>Responds to all emergencies in program. Familiar with emergency equipment and all emergency operational procedures. The dialysis experience shall be within the last twenty-four (24) months. Possessing a current certification from a nationally recognized board in nephrology nursing or dialysis may be substituted for the six (6) months experience in dialysis obtained within the last twenty-four (24) months.</li></ul>
