Title: Computer Technician Coordinator (Internal Candidates Only)
POSITION SUMMARY Supports the Technology Services Department by supervising a team of computer technicians and performing and coordinating complex computer maintenance through effective troubleshooting and repair of computers, peripherals, data communications or computer network systems in classrooms and instructional spaces for the College’s six extended campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under general direction, independently assign and review work of computer technicians who perform complex troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation and testing activities, such as designing and fabricating specialized interfaces and communication links. In consultation with department leaders, plan and oversee complex installation projects. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. Research and advise department leaders on the acquisition of new computing equipment.
Serve as a back-up computer technician as needed. Assist the department’s service desk with troubleshooting issues in the field. Supervises computer technicians on the College’s extended campuses, including providing training and guidance and setting appropriate goals and expectations for optimal job performance. Ensure all projects are properly recorded and documented in the service desk system. Maintain an inventory of critical parts and supplies for computer preventative and remedial maintenance.
Assist with the obtaining quotes for and the ordering of hardware and software products. Conduct and maintain an asset management system of computer equipment, software and associated peripherals for assigned areas. Lead problem-solving efforts with internal offices/colleagues and external vendors regarding equipment, technology and processes as needed. Provide responsive and transparent support to campus partners, ensuring the department delivers excellent customer. Stay current with audio visual equipment and technologies utilized by the campus community.

• Associate Degree from a regionally-accredited institution. • Currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT-Paramedic without history of revocation, denial, or suspension of license. • Licensed emergency care experience must include a minimum of two (2) years practice, preferably within the last five (5) years. • Administrative experience must include a minimum of two (2) years in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) educational administration or greater than three hundred (300) hours of EMS instruction. • Current TEMSESA I/C (instructor/coordinator) course (renewed within within last two years). • Current endorsement in a Board approved trauma, cardiac, and pediatric course at the provider level.
Preferred Qualifications
• Classroom experience and administrative experience in delivery of workforce education and competency-based training.

The primary function of the Coordinator of Special Programs for Correctional Education is to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of college programs in the carceral spaces across the state on behalf of TBR and its institutions. This position is a result of the Governor’s Correctional Education Investment which aims to provide educational opportunities to those incarcerated in Tennessee prisons. The initiative has expanded to nine (9) prison facilities operated by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and specifically implement courses provided by the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology and Community Colleges and is continuing to work with other prison facilities managed by private business as well as federal prisons and jails across the state of Tennessee. To support this initiative, the Coordinator of Special Programs for Correctional Education will facilitate TBR’s efforts in implementing higher education programming across multiple Tennessee correctional facilities. The position will work with institutions, TDOC, THEI, and THEC to implement provisions of the Correctional Education Investment Initiative. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges at the employee’s expense. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>75% - Establish and coordinate community college and technical college programs at TDOC and DCS facilities across the state based on evaluation of workforce needs and using best judgement in consultation with institutions and local industries. This includes an audit of TDOC’s existing postsecondary programming to determine revisions that would meet credential requirements. Support planning and coordination of program development. Provide administrative support as needed. Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures. Ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Use independent judgement to determine and implement programmatic changes including but not limited to personnel, budgeting, program expansion, and facility expansion to increase participation and reach of the CEI program statewide. Create and maintain systemwide budgets for carceral programs at each participating institution based on funding from the governor’s office, and create, implement, and monitor contracts to grant state appropriations to system colleges. Coordinate between TBR, TDOC, and individual institutions to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that may arise in the delivery of educational programs in a carceral setting. Facilitate and coordinate the grant approval process and implementation of partnerships between county jails and TCATs to provide educational programs to residents incarcerated at municipal and county jails. Host and lead regular meetings with TDOC, THEI, colleges, and other involved parties to ensure consistency in approaches and procedures for both programs and institutions participating in the CEI project. - (Essential)</li>

Job Summary
The Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management (VPSEM) is a full-time fiscal position reporting directly to the President of Southwest Tennessee Community College. Serving as the Chief Enrollment Officer and as a member of the President’s senior staff, the VPSEM will develop and execute comprehensive enrollment strategies for student recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and retention, focusing on student success and institutional growth. The VPSEM will create and implement a strategic enrollment plan that aligns with the College’s mission. The VPSEM has primary responsibility to provide leadership, strategic direction, policy development and administrative oversight of the Student Affairs division. The VPSEM will lead all units in developing and sustaining a seamless, integrated student experience from pre-enrollment through career/transfer for Southwest’s ever-growing student population. Areas of responsibility include Strategic Enrollment Services, Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions, Recruitment, &amp; K12 Partnerships, Child Care Centers, Upward Bound, Athletics, Student Advocacy &amp; Support, Student Leadership &amp; Engagement. The VPSEM will also collaborate with internal and external constituents to enhance student learning and success. The VPSEM fosters a culture of data-informed decision making to inspire best practices regarding marketing, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, enrollment, student success and retention. VPSEM must stay current with the latest best practices in strategic enrollment management, particularly in urban higher education settings. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Develops and coordinates an effective organization to provide college-wide leadership to all enrollment management and student services functions.</li>
<li>Develops strategic enrollment plan and provides strategic leadership, vision, and inspiration to achieve enrollment growth and student success goals.</li>
<li>Works closely with the Vice President of Academic Affairs to ensure that recruitment and retention strategies are tightly aligned, promoting cross-functional collaboration to enhance student outcomes.</li>
<li>Optimize human, fiscal, and material resources to ensure outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Provides student centered leadership to operations supporting pre-enrollment services, enrollment services, and student support services.</li>
<li>Utilize data analytics to inform best practices in marketing, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, enrollment management, student success, and retention efforts.</li>
<li>Organizes all of the functions of the pre-enrollment services, enrollment services, and student support services in an effective and efficient manner consistent with the philosophy and mission of the college.</li>
<li>Coordinates and communicates with the President, Vice President, Executive Directors, and staff on all necessary business, personnel and student management matters to provide input and/or leadership direction as appropriate.</li>
<li>Coordinates student data gathering efforts and ensures timely data reporting to meet deadlines established by the college.</li>
<li>As a change agent, develops and communicates the vision, goals, and character of the enrollment and student services functions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies related to student affairs and enrollment management.</li>
<li>Develop and update policies and procedures to improve student services and operational effectiveness.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Master's degree in a related field. 
</li>
<li>At least eight (8) years of broad-based, progressively responsible student services/affairs experience. 
</li>
<li>Five (5) years of enrollment management experience. 
</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in creating comprehensive, student-centered programs and services that increased enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. 
</li>
<li>Experience in developing and managing departmental budgets. 
</li>
<li>Experience in and knowledge of change management. 
</li>
<li>A background screening will be required for the successful candidate. 
</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Doctorate in a related field. 
</li>
<li>Experience working in a community college setting. 
</li>
<li>Strong computer skills with experience in Ellucian Banner software packages. 
</li>
<li>Experience with accreditation processes, specifically with SACSCOC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges). 
</li>

</li>
<li>Ability to interact effectively and build collaborative relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents, and other college constituents.

<li>Proficiency in data analysis and the use of data to inform strategic decision-making.

Title: Instructional Technology Coordinator
Job Summary
Support students, faculty, and staff in online and virtual learning. Provide technical support and training for the learning management system, accessibility software, classroom technologies, and teleconferencing systems. Support and review course development projects to ensure faculty are trained and adhere to current instructional design theories, technologies, and accessibility standards.
Job Duties
• Provide virtual customer and technical support to faculty and students for all campus-related software.
• Provide technical and daily use support to faculty and students using Desire2Learn or any other campus-related software.
• Provide classroom technology training and consultation to faculty to create student-centered courses in D2L.
• Facilitate campus-related software as the senior system administrator for Desire2Learn, Nearpod, Zoom, TextHelp, Camtasia, Articulate 360, TurnItIn, and Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, including maintaining all faculty accounts, course creations, cloning, cross-listing, and training for Distance courses.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training and professional development workshops for faculty in the use of campus-related software including Desire2Learn, Nearpod, Zoom, TextHelp, Camtasia, Articulate 360, TurnItIn, and Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, and Microsoft Office products.
• Maintain and monitor all scheduling for Distance Learning and Web Conferencing courses.
• Coordinate with the Office of Information Technology to report any hardware issues for all Distance Learning classrooms.
• Coordinate with Dual Enrollment High Schools using web-conferencing software for training and technical support.
• Coordinate with Director of Center for Teaching and Learning on faculty professional development opportunities.
• Review newly designed online courses for student navigation and provide feedback to the instructional designer.
• Assist faculty with creating and updating course material to meet TBR accessibility standards in all courses.
• Research upcoming classroom technology and new vendors including pricing, accessibility, and FERPA guidelines.
• Train faculty and staff on Mobile Device Policy, including specialized device training.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years’ experience working with multiple software programs

• 2-3 years higher education experience • 3-5 years technical support experience

• Must have an extensive knowledge of application software. Knowledge should include, but is not limited toDesire2Learn, Luminis, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Camtasia, Respondus 4.0, Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, Nearpod, TextHelp, Banner, and Argos. Applicant should possess an extensive knowledge of the operation and use and technical requirements ofPC computers and peripherals, including printers, types of drives and scanners. • Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. • Reasoning ability required in decision making, project coordination, and performing various tasks. • Office administration, public relations, time management, organizational, and scheduling skills required. Must be able to exercise ethics and maintain confidentiality.
Pay Rate: $47,031 - $58,788 (Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.)
