Job Description and RequirementsThe Records and Research Service of Process Specialist provides quality service to members, non-members, vendors and credit union employees by phone, fax, email and mail. In addition, they will process a variety of transactions, inquiries, and research requests in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory laws. They will conduct all duties with integrity and in a manner intended to enhance the image and growth of the Credit Union.Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Comply with applicable regulatory laws pertaining to the credit union and internal policies and procedures to research and complete requests for garnishments, levies, turnovers, freezes and subpoenas.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze production of documents to ensure that they adhere to policy and procedures.</li><li>Prepare required documents associated with requests and ensure proper filing of documents with regulatory authorities, court and other tribunals adhere to policy and procedures.</li><li>Process garnishments, levies, turnovers, freezes and subpoenas in a timely manner and within legal obligation.</li><li>Handle inbound and outbound phone calls or electronic communications from RBFCU departments/business units, branches or third party agencies in regards to garnishments, levies, turnovers, freezes and subpoenas.</li><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.</li><li>Utilize and navigate various legal research tools, i.e., TLO, Specialized web based programs and software to manage garnishments, levies, turnovers, freezes and subpoenas.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist team members when needed.</li><li>Conducts all duties in a manner intended to enhance the image and growth of the Credit Union and confidentiality when applicable.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned (note: essential functions and responsibilities may change or new one may be assigned at any time with or without notice).</li><li>This job may be eligible for work from home- hybrid schedule (please refer to the Remote Work Capability and Work From Home section of the Employee Handbook).</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Minimum of one year previous job related work experience.</li><li>Must be able to work Monday - Saturday schedule.</li><li>Must have cognitive, critical and analytical thinking and decision-making skills, along with the ability to multi task and manage time effectively with a close attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to handle problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations to identify trends and improvement opportunities communicating and/or escalating unresolved issues to a Lead, Assistant Manager or Manager for further action.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Good attendance and promptness is pertinent.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
