Job Summary This position will provide a variety of specialty pharmacy services aimed at improving the care for patients enrolled within the UK HealthCare Specialty Pharmacy service. This position will provide oversight of a variety of areas, including appropriateness of prescription processing, workflow improvement, mail order support, patient counseling, and coordination of prescription with clinic-based and call-center based specialty pharmacists. This position will provide a high patient-touch service while obtaining affordable access to these medications, both cornerstones of a high functioning Specialty Pharmacy.
