LOCATION: McLane Sumner - 4301 West Valley Hwy, Suite 400, Sumner, WA. 98390 Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Base Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.</li><li>Production Rate: $28.00 per hour (rate available upon meeting production standards).</li><li>Daily Incentives: Eligible selectors can earn up to an additional $125.00 per day through McLane's performance-based incentive program. Incentives are not guaranteed, and actual incentive pay will vary depending on individual performance.</li><li>Generous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. </li><li>Earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days. </li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. </li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! </li></ul> What you'll do as a Warehouse Selector: <ul><li>Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse and moving product within the warehouse. </li><li>May work in various areas of the warehouse such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others. </li><li>McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves to you. </li><li>Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product. </li><li>Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock. </li><li>Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or in the wrong location. </li><li>Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders. </li><li>Clean work area. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: <ul><li>At least 18 years of age. </li><li>Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more. </li><li>At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred, but not required. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
