We foster a collaborative culture where everyone is encouraged to participate in decision-making, planning, and shaping the company's future.Your Role:As the Shipping &amp; Receiving Associate, you will work full-time during our day shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) in a 10,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned shop. You will be responsible for packing, shipping, and delivering our products while supporting other operations around the shop. As a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience, we focus on jobbing work with brass, aluminum, and stainless steel. You will work with equipment such as CNC Vertical Mills (Haas/Brother + 4th/5th axis), Mazak Lathes with Bar Feeders, Mastercam CAD/CAM, and standard grinding, finishing, saw, and manual machining tools.To thrive as a Shipping &amp; Receiving Associate, you should have:<ul><li>High School Diploma (or GED) required; additional certification or training in relevant fields preferred.</li><li>2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, with knowledge of ERP software and supply chain/logistics.</li><li>Basic deburring and CNC machine experience preferred.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate forklift equipment.</li><li>Ability to safely and efficiently handle materials and products using a forklift.</li></ul>Your responsibilities as the Shipping &amp; Receiving Associate include:<ul><li>Oversee all shipping, receiving, and material operations, maintaining and updating inventory.</li><li>Prepare shipping documents and labels and handle e-commerce order packing and shipping.</li><li>Inspect parts before delivery and resolve issues with damaged, missing, or non-conforming items.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage pickups and deliveries using the company van and assist with general building maintenance.</li></ul>We are an equal opportunity employer that welcomes and encourages diversity in the workplace.
