Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Prepares daily records and memos and maintains filing system for Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Compiles transportation pouches which include route manifests, invoices, special customer notifications, maps and keys for drivers. Updates driver and helper dispatch schedules daily. Sets up daily tractor/trailer assignment for drivers. Contacts customers on a daily basis and notifies them of any changes to their delivery ETA. Records conversation details with customer. Schedules special loads notifies customers of pertinent information. Uses systems to track and locate drivers and pulls data for reporting purposes. Ensures data is accurate and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations. Since our inception in 2012, EDP has helped more than 44 owners of well-run propane businesses transition to their own “next chapter” while benefiting everyone involved.Responsibilities:<ul><li>&nbsp;Accurately recording usage data, ensuring meters are functioning correctly, maintaining records, and performing basic meter maintenance.</li><li>&nbsp;If applicable, complete training and testing for all required state licenses and certifications.</li><li>&nbsp;Immediately report all incidents and accidents to the General Manager.</li><li>Seasonal Support: Assist with deliveries by driving a delivery vehicle, as necessary.</li><li>&nbsp;Accurately complete and submit service orders daily.</li><li>Perform daily inspections (DVIR) of the truck, maintaining it in excellent working condition.</li><li>Accurately document and bill for all parts used, following sales proposals for pricing.</li><li>Frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying heavy equipment or materials (up to 75 pounds).</li><li>This role includes on-call responsibilities, as the needs of the company require that you work past your regular departure time or otherwise outside of your regular work hours</li></ul>Minimum Education:<ul><li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience.</li></ul>Minimum Work Experience:<ul><li>Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage</li><li>2-3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a related field preferred</li><li>Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards.</li><li>Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn propane systems and installation practices.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and professional appearance.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments and weather conditions.</li><li>Basic computer skills for completing service orders and maintaining documentation.</li></ul>Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:<ul><li>Class B CDL License</li><li>Tanker/ Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred)</li></ul>Must be willing to travel.<h4>We Offer Amazing Benefits!</h4>In addition to competitive wages, we are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to help support the physical and financial health of our employees and their families.Our benefits program allows you to customize your coverage, to select the best plans to meet your family’s needs while taking advantage of tax savings.
