JOB SUMMARY
The Metadata &amp; Discovery Librarian supports student success and lifelong learning by ensuring library resources are accurately described, easily discoverable, and consistently accessible. This position is responsible for creating and enhancing metadata, managing discovery services, and maintaining library systems that enable seamless access to both physical and digital collections.
The librarian contributes to policy development, provides reference and circulation support, and helps ensure smooth daily operations in the Library Director’s absence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS

<li>Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Library and Information Studies (MLIS), Information Science (MSIS), Library Science (MLS), or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program.</li>
<li>Minimum one (1) year of experience in cataloging, metadata, library systems, or related technical services work. A combination of relevant coursework, internships, graduate assistantships, or supervised field experience may count toward this requirement.</li>
