The successful candidate will lead innovative research utilizing advanced cellular and molecular biology approaches, sophisticated two-dimensional and three-dimensional cell culture systems, immunological assays, high-resolution imaging, and next-generation sequencing technologies to investigate epithelial and immune cell responses to infection and evaluate novel therapeutic strategies. This position offers outstanding opportunities to conduct high-impact research, publish in leading journals, mentor trainees, and develop independent research projects. • Design, develop, and lead independent and collaborative research projects focused on cellular immunology and host responses to infection.• Develop and optimize advanced mammalian cell culture systems, including complex 2D and 3D cellular models.• Perform immunological assays, including flow cytometry, cytokine profiling, ELISA, immunofluorescence microscopy, Western blotting, and immune signaling analyses.• Conduct molecular biology experiments, including RNA isolation, quantitative PCR, and sequencing library preparation.• Analyze transcriptomic and other omics datasets in collaboration with bioinformatics teams.• Interpret experimental data, troubleshoot assays, and optimize laboratory protocols.• Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.• Present research findings at scientific meetings.• Contribute to the preparation of competitive grant proposals.• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.Maintain compliance with institutional biosafety and research regulations.
