- Lead the strategic direction and daily oversight of the University’s housing partnership program, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and student success initiatives.
- Manage contractual relationships with housing partners by monitoring compliance, evaluating performance, and fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that enhance operational effectiveness, student satisfaction, and long-term housing initiatives.
- Direct departmental fiscal operations, including budget planning, resource allocation, financial oversight, and stewardship of departmental resources.
- Oversee housing-related operations and coordinate facilities initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the University and housing partners while building strong collaborative relationships across campus.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop professional staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Student Success, Residence Life, Facilities Management, UK Police, Enrollment Management, Purchasing, UK Hospitality, and other University departments to coordinate housing initiatives and support operational excellence.
- Evaluate operational performance, identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement innovative solutions that enhance the residential experience.
- Ensure housing services are delivered in accordance with University policies, contractual agreements, and applicable regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop strategic initiatives and manage complex housing or operational programs.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, budget management, operational planning, and organizational leadership.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and lead organizational change.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing professional staff while fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
- Sound judgment, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
