The Facilities Technician will oversee facilities operations across a local region, providing leadership and guidance in managing preventative maintenance, repair services, and capital projects for Cooper's Hawk Winery &amp; Restaurants. Responsible for completing PM’s for HVAC, refrigeration, cooking equipment, plumbing, and electrical, as well as handyman repairs and overall building maintenance. They will be the restaurant teams first point of contact and will work with the corresponding Facilities Manager to escalate issues.&nbsp;What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Assisting the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level</li><li>Performing facility maintenance and repair through daily site visits and analysis of restaurants</li><li>Formulating preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities, including but not limited to cooking equipment, HVAC systems, sinks, plumbing, electrical circuits, and refrigeration units</li><li>Carrying out set procedures to be followed in the event facilities cease functioning, function improperly, or present a threat to the health and safety of employees or customers</li><li>Training managers, crew, and other restaurant staff on how to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair restaurant facilities; assessing the need for additional training on an individual, as needed basis</li><li>Guiding managers, crew, and other restaurant staff are correctly and consistently following facility maintenance practices and procedures</li><li>Conducting detailed facility maintenance and repair seminars on an individual basis or in a group setting</li><li>Providing the Operations Team and Regional Facility Manager with comprehensive maintenance visit recaps detailing restaurant strengths and areas of opportunity, as related to facilities</li><li>Identifying specific issues which contribute to higher R&amp;M costs or capital reinvestment costs and communicating these issues to the Operation and Facilities Teams.</li><li>Providing guidance to restaurants on how to maintain and update facility records</li><li>Performing equipment and building repairs on a regular basis (e.g., in the case of an emergency or during routine scheduled site visit)</li><li>Performing new store turnover, 90 day and one-year walks/punches with Contractor and Operations Team for all new restaurants</li><li>Serving as liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and vendors when needed to repair facilities</li><li>Assisting Operations Team to investigate, analyze, and determine whether to escalate facilities issues to the Regional Facilities Manager</li><li>Serving as the facilities representative at operations management meetings and is responsible for communicating information back to the Facilities team</li><li>Assisting with communicating contractor deficiencies on re-investment or repair projects</li><li>Completing other duties to advance a particular project or resolving a business issue, as needed</li></ul>&nbsp;What You’ll Need:<ul><li>Must represent Cooper’s Hawk values and be a strong team leader.</li><li>Possess a strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair and basic HVAC/refrigeration</li><li>Working knowledge of work order software system Service Channel or similar platform</li><li>Be knowledgeable of rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules while planning work to facilitate timely achievement of results</li><li>Effectively, clearly, and patiently communicate and train facility maintenance and repair concepts</li><li>Have a clean Motor Vehicle Report in order to travel between restaurants</li><li>Be responsible for safe driving requirements as determined by the law</li><li>Have a B.A./B.S. in related field or an equivalent in education and experience with two (2) years formal or informal training on how to repair and maintain facilities; experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration or appliance repair preferred.</li><li>Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs., climb a ladder and be available for emergency situations that may require overtime.</li></ul>Compensation Range:&nbsp;Compensation range is $55,000-$65,000/year.
