ECTC is seeking a dynamic Business Instructor to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester. 




Job Duties:
Teaching duties include the creation and delivery of course content, using Blackboard for communication and feedback, course design, and student outcome assessment. Emphasis on student success and retention through regular office hours, student advising, internal service/committee work, community service, and professional development. Candidates must possess a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to the community and technical college mission. Job Summary
The full-time Lineman Instructor will provide direction and instruction for the Lineman Training Program on the MCTC Rowan Campus. Will be responsible for assistance in recruitment of students by attending networking meeting, holding seats on job-related committees, and attending career fairs for secondary institutions and adults. Order materials and supplies needed for the program on the Rowan campus. This position will also build and retain strong employer partnerships through advisory boards, guest instructors, and student employment opportunities after completion of the training. Managing and tracking student placements, maintaining a safe learning environment, and security of all inventory tools and material for the program are essential as well. It is intended that the person in this role will also manage the CDL program and instructors, and submit academic program assessments and other necessary items.




Job Duties:
-Responsible for coordination of recruitment efforts with Workforce staff, secondary education partners, outside recruiting agencies, and MCTC aligned programs. (ex. Diesel Tech) -Manage CDL Program classes and other part-time staff instructors. Assist Lineman CDL class in instruction, as needed. -Order and maintain supplies and materials for Lineman class, while staying within the budget. Work with Workforce staff to submit budget items. -Update and manage Blackboard for APT 158/159 class work and assessments. -Deliver Spring, Summer, and Fall Lineman classes. Instructor will teach/instruct students in the classroom and at the pole yard from the ground and on the pole. Instructor will cover all material so that upon completion students will know all the course specific learning outcomes. -Track and manage student attendance and job placement rates of graduates. -Attend and co-coordinate bi-yearly advisory board meetings. Job Summary
Bluegrass Community and Technical College is hiring a full-time instructor with a broad background in Diesel Technology, Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks. The instructor will teach various formats within the Diesel Technology Program which includes Hybrid (online) lectures, competency based, and hands on labs. Classes will be administered in accordance with ASE standards. This position will primarily work on the Lawrenceburg Campus. 




Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Provide instruction in the areas of Diesel Technology in the Medium/Heavy Duty Truck area. 
</li>
<li>Collaborate with business and industry to maintain an awareness of current technologies, trends, and issues. 
</li>
<li>Provide academic advising and career-related counseling for students. 
</li>
<li>Engage in recruitment and retention activities through programming at secondary schools, community partners, and professional organizations. 
</li>
<li>Participate in faculty professional development activities to include employer sponsored training. 
</li>
<li>Establish and maintain ASE accreditation through completion of required reports and updates. 
</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>




Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Diesel Technology AND have a minimum of two-year’s work experience in the field AND maintain appropriate ASE or industry certification for the courses being taught. OR Have a minimum of five years’ work experience in the field AND maintain appropriate ASE certification for courses being taught &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:

<li>Instructional experience 
</li>
<li>ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician certification </li>
