Job Summary
The Political Science Area at BCTC is seeking qualified part-time faculty for on-site classes at the Lawrenceburg, Danville, Georgetown, and/or Winchester campuses. * Additional qualifications to those listed below based on course subject may apply. While we are primarily seeking applicants to teach on-site, adjuncts may be asked to teach using any of the following modes of instruction: • On-site with in-person meetings two days per week, • Hybrid with in-person meetings on-site one day per week paired with online instruction, and/or • Online/asynchronous with no required on-site, in-person meetings.




Job Duties:

<li>Prepare and deliver course syllabi, lectures and/or labs relevant to the course description and student learning outcomes (Course and if applicable General Education).

Job Summary
Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for Professional Tutors. Professional Tutors work with students in a variety of formats on course content, including help with homework assignments and preparing for tests and quizzes, with a special concentration on learning the basic skills needed to master course content. It is the goal of the tutor to assist students in developing the learning skills necessary to master the academic subject matter. Tutors may work in a variety of ways, including embedded within a class on campus or online, open walk-in times, and online tutoring. The tutor will work one-on-one or with a small group of students and document their interactions. Tutors will also be asked to create and facilitate success workshops covering topics related to their tutoring field dependent on the courses that relate to their subject area. Professional tutors will be expected to lead the field of professional development, with continuing education and presenting at trainings and meetings. Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:
