Job Duties:
Maintains the records and required updates and notifications for all students in the evening/weekend RN and LPN program on the Cumberland Campus. Attends nursing meetings on that campus (performing secretarial duties such as meeting minutes and administration of appropriate documents and materials for meetings provided by the coordinator). Provide administrative support including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events. Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Public Relations, Marketing, and Admissions, the Coordinator of Student Access and Empowerment will serve on the Recruitment Team and will implement educational recruitment efforts that will influence enrollment. The coordinator will provide recruitment and outreach activities aimed at creating opportunities for underserved populations to inform them of access opportunities and participation in educational programs. Refer and/or assist students with navigating both college services and community services and resources when appropriate. These referrals include interventions to address mental health issues, student accessibility services, food or housing insecurities, financial aid assistance, and more. Assist in scheduling appointments with these resources when necessary. 18. Serve on Committees as assigned by the President and AVP of Public Relations, Marketing, and Admissions. 19. Associate’s degree with courses in Math, Science, or aviation. (Preferred) 6. Three (3) years of successful teaching in the field of aviation maintenance or other related experiences. (Preferred) 7. Prior experience or training with blackboard online course delivery system (Strongly Preferred). Blackboard certification is required within six months of initial employment and will be reviewed mid-year. &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
This faculty position for aviation provides the leadership necessary to work cooperatively with KCTCS and JCTC school faculties, administrative teams, and appropriate units within the District and College to implement all aspects of the aviation program in relation to instruction, record keeping, tools, equipment, and supplies needs as well as assist the coordinator as required.
