Job Summary
Jefferson Community &amp; Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for the Dual Credit Academic Program Facilitator. The Dual Credit Department facilitates enrollment and onboarding of high school dual credit students generally and with specific programs such as A2C, UPS School to Work, Rotary Bridge and BAMS. This is a team-led, high-functioning, student-focused environment.




Job Duties:
• Responsibilities include the complete enrollment cycle for general and technical education classes. • Building relationships with designated high school partners in JCPS and supporting the College’s Matriculation Plan in relation to those high school students for transition into full college enrollment. • Facilitating relationships between the college and secondary education institutions that offer dual credit classes; developing aligned CTE pathways; coordinating efforts and communication with public school systems about Dual Credit courses • Supporting Dual Credit Office professional development for counselors and orientations for dual credit students • Supporting specialized programs for dual credit as needed • Serve as JCTC’s dual credit primary point of contact for assigned high schools in Jefferson County Public Schools providing the highest level of customer service for Dual Credit enrollment and matriculation. • Collaborate with high school personnel to provide intentional student advising focusing on student post-high school options at JCTC. • Serve as the main point of contact for visits and events such as Parent Nights and Dual Credit events. • Through the Dual Enroll platform, coordinate with high school teachers, counselors, and JCTC staff to manage student enrollment in dual credit classes, including the drop/withdraw process. • Initiate and maintain student records • Maintain organization of course requests, high school faculty assignments, and course building including the management of enrollment capacity in Peoplesoft. • Assist with student orientations hosted by the Dual Credit Office, including specialized programs. • Assist with the KHEAA dual credit scholarship award process, mapping, reconciliation, recalculation of tuition, and billing as needed. • Assist with the management of the Dual Credit Department shared email account and respond to student, faculty and counselor inquiries. 




Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary
The Northern Migrant Education Regional Center Student Support Specialist III is responsible for working with students and families in the region. The incumbent advises school district staff, community and other agencies to interpret federal law and regulatory guidance as well as to provide service and offer referral for service needs of those families recruited. The incumbent provides technical assistance to local school district staff and other service providers; counsels targeted students aged 3-22 and their parents/guardians. The Outreach Specialist position completes work of an advanced nature that requires familiarity with procedures and knowledge of counseling students and families on academic and school admission requirements (Preschool-12) and serves as liaison to community organizations and partners. The recruiter/advocate will serve all counties in the Region. 




Job Duties:

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President of Public Relations, Marketing, and Admissions, the Coordinator of Student Access and Empowerment will serve on the Recruitment Team and will implement educational recruitment efforts that will influence enrollment. The coordinator will provide recruitment and outreach activities aimed at creating opportunities for underserved populations to inform them of access opportunities and participation in educational programs. The coordinator plans and implements non-traditional educational outreach activities at schools, churches, community centers, adult education sites and on campus. The coordinator must stay up-to-date and aware of social, political, and educational trends and challenges faced by prospective and current students. 




Job Duties:
1. Conduct educational recruitment and outreach activities that address the specific needs and circumstances of under-resourced communities 2. Works with community organizations, middle and high schools, churches, libraries, community centers, adult education centers, etc. to provide BCTC information, educational workshops, and programs to assist prospective students with academic and career goals settings, admissions processes, scholarship searches, and financial aid applications. 3. Provide one on one and family-based college admissions counseling, financial aid, and scholarship counseling for prospective students. 4. Participate in the development of recruitment strategies for the Under resourced community as designed in the Strategic Enrollment Plan (SEM). Initiates, plans, and executes programs and activities at all BCTC campuses. 5. Evaluates program effectiveness, assesses outcomes, and develops improved programming to achieve goals and objectives. 6. Promote and recruit prospective students for the Academic Support Program Inspiring to Reach Excellence (ASPIRE) Scholarship program 7. Work in partnership with the Director of Student Empowerment and Access as it relates to the ASPIRE Scholars, I AM program and other initiatives. 8. Collaborate with the Director of Student Empowerment and Access with grant searches and grant writing to fund programs, professional development opportunities, scholarships, and projects. 9. Utilize the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to enter all prospective student data for tracking and monitoring purposes to increase the yield rate for these populations of students. 10. Ensure that the data is utilized for the development and refinement of effective recruiting strategies and tactics. 11. Manage stop out reports and develop campaigns to reengage students 12. Develop and maintain a Communication Plan utilizing the CRM, Signal Vine, and other inter-office platforms for clear and direct messaging to convert each student via the recruitment funnel. 13. Facilitate individual and group tours for the under resourced community at the Lexington Campuses and participate as an active member of the Recruitment Team. 14. Refer students to the appropriate Enrollment Management and Student Services areas (Counseling, tutoring, Financial Aid, Advising, Career Services, etc.) 15. Serve as a lead for recruitment initiatives such as Spotlight Day, BCTC to You, Heart to Heart and assist with executing programs and orientations for this target audience. 16. Supports and/or provides college preparation programs and summer enrichment activities to address student readiness, recruitment, and retention to higher education. 17. Refer and/or assist students with navigating both college services and community services and resources when appropriate. These referrals include interventions to address mental health issues, student accessibility services, food or housing insecurities, financial aid assistance, and more. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices and meeting rooms, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows.




Minimum Qualifications:
Prefer an applicant with industrial cleaning experience. The qualified applicant will have experience using industrial cleaning equipment and supplies, MSDS and knowledge of general safety rules. This position requires the ability to work with students, employees and the general public.&nbsp;

Job Summary
Under the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program, students can earn money for their education by working part-time, on-campus, while enrolled in school either full or part-time. If you are awarded a Federal Work-Study, you will earn the current federal minimum wage. Federal Work-Study funds are limited. Employment and/or positions are not guaranteed for all those who qualify or who apply. Students MUST contact the ACTC Office of Financial Aid to determine eligibility for the FWS program prior to completing the employment application.
