POSITION SUMMARY The Financial Aid Counselor, Extended Campuses, provides excellent customer service and guidance to diverse groups of both traditional and non-traditional students and their families throughout the financial aid process; and supports students at our extended campuses with financial aid questions both virtually and in person. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide guidance throughout the financial aid process to prospective, new, and current students and their families. Evaluate students’ Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Counsel students regarding file completion, repercussions of drops/withdrawals, SAP appeals. Maintain knowledge of polices of other departments (registrar. Bursar, human resources, admissions, etc.) and understand the impact of their processing on a student’s financial aid eligibility. Utilize conflict resolution skill sets to ensure student financial aid issues are resolved in a friendly and professional manner while assisting students with understanding their financial aid situation and potential solutions. Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA regulations and Financial Aid policies at all campuses. Ensure that separation of duties is maintained at all campuses. Job Summary
This is a full-time, academic year (9 months), one-year term (renewable) appointment within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Job Summary
This is a full-time, fiscal year appointment position, reporting to the Vice President of Communications and Institutional Advancement. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and engagement support to the Vice President, along with other Division staff (as needed). Working closely with Marketing and Communications, Institutional Advancement, academics units, and other departments to align efforts with Southwest’s overall strategy and branding. This position is responsible for the logistics and coordination of unit meetings, events, internal and external communications, managing outreach and engagement initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of the division through high-level coordination and administrative support.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Executive Support
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary administrative support to the Vice President: managing calendars, meetings, and outreach events (in person and virtual); coordinating travel; and other support as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain various records, and handle confidential information with discretion.</li>
<li>Coordinate logistics for internal meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.</li>
<li>Support budget tracking, expense reimbursements, and procurement of office supplies.</li>

<li>Marketing and Communication Coordination
<ul>
<li>Assist in the development, scheduling, and production of communication and media materials in alignment with the College’s branding and compliance standards.</li>
<li>Support the creation of marketing memorandums, registration, room reservations, catering, etc.</li>
<li>Assist with identifying potential success stories and best practices. Give insight to develop content for newsletters, website, etc.</li>
