POSITION SUMMARY
&nbsp;
The Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) position assists in the repair and maintenance of the College’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other internal systems such as doors, keys and locksets. The College is seeking PM Tech’s to assist our trade supervisors in the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC. These duties include but are not limited to: working on door closers, hinges and doors, installing sheetrock, changing filters, greasing pumps, cleaning coils, changing belts, greasing and changing bearings, servicing pumps &amp; motors, repairing toilets &amp; sinks, and servicing/maintaining/tracking equipment and inventory relevant to the department. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times. This position reports to the Director and Executive Director of Plant Operations.

General Duties:
The Grant and Coffee County Coordinator is responsible for understanding the organizational needs and searching for ways to support them through grant funding and institutional service. The individual is in charge of writing and reporting on the institution’s grants along with helping maintain records and reporting for other institutional areas as required. This individual will maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator will also serve as administrator when needed and help support IT needs of the campus. This position will include some travel, both around the service area for support throughout the community and beyond the service area for conferences.

Physical Demands:&nbsp;
The physical demands of this position include lifting of furniture, computers, monitors, and printers. This job requires the ability to work in confined spaces and be able to bend and reach equipment under desks, tables, shelves, and in closets.
The technician must be able to hear audible codes generated by computers and other networking equipment. The technician must be able to hear instructions by hand held radio communications and by telephone. This position requires the ability to quickly scan and read large amounts of information displayed on a computer screen and in hardware and software manuals. Also must be able to read serials numbers and other information in poorly illuminated locations.&nbsp;
Hazards: There is a lot of exposure to lifting on a regular basis. Some printers and other equipment require more than one person to lift.&nbsp; A person doing this job will most definitely suffer some degradation of vision due long hours of staring at computer screens.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the operations of the Campus Police Department Communications Center. Coordinates telecommunications and radio dispatching of resources/services during non-emergency and emergency situations. Work is performed under general supervision. Must have the ability and willingness to work any shift assigned.
Job Duties:
Must screen all telephone calls and radio traffic to determine the appropriate level of service needed in emergency and non-emergency situations and allocate appropriate personnel and resources to incidents. Must enter calls for service into a Computer Aided Dispatch computer system, access campus information, and query local, state and national law enforcement databases. Must monitor alarm systems, contact appropriate parties, initiate police, EMS and/or fire response. Must initiate the evacuation of a building or the entire campus through campus paging system and text message alert system. Monitor alarm and video security systems. Maintain computerized records of citations issued. Monitors weather information for emergency conditions. Controls access to Police Department secured areas through access control system, as well as other bldgs./doors on all campus sites. Performs receptionist duties. Responds to questions from walk-in and telephone traffic, provides general information, and gives directions. May perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, etc. Operate a variety of advanced communications equipment, a multi-line telephone system, and specialized computer systems, monitor fire, gas and security alarm systems, coordinate and direct the appropriate responses. Ensure the security and confidentiality of restricted information. Operate computer inquiry terminal to obtain information on persons, vehicle registrations, driving records and warrants through related databases to provide pertinent data. Provide routine assistance to visitors, faculty, staff, students and community patrons by providing information, directions, and services. Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Pass a thorough background investigation. Pass a drug test. Must successfully complete the departmental communications training program within designated time frame. Must have not been convicted of or pleaded guilty to or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substances. Job Summary:
Enforce the state, local and federal laws; enforce college policies and procedures; and provide a variety of security and enforcement services that promotes and maintains a safe campus. 
Job Duties:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Promote lawful behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty, staff and visitors as a uniformed presence on campus. Perform foot and vehicle patrols to monitor behavior, secure buildings and property, maintain order during events and enforce policies, laws and ordinances. Seeks solution to possible problem before event occurs. Responds to radio dispatches and answers calls and complaints. Respond to emergency calls and alarms and assists in determining the cause or origin of an emergency. Assist and/or direct securing an area and containing any emergency situation. Investigate criminal offenses, traffic accidents, injury reports, and various other reported situations and effectively document preliminary investigation reports. Make arrests and assist in the prosecution of violators of the law. Enforce traffic and parking regulations. Respond to routine calls for assistance including safety escorts, transport of money on and off the campus, and motorist assistance. Assist students, faculty, and other campus visitors with questions, directions, issuing temporary parking permits, opening and closing buildings and classrooms, and various other activities. Performs CPR, First Aid, and use AED equipment as needed. Reports unsafe conditions. Develop partnerships with the campus community and serve as a proactive resource to a uniquely diverse population. Operate law enforcement equipment (including lethal and non-lethal weapons necessary in the performance of required duties). Use of records management system, monthly reporting, college work order system, and other law enforcement related computer systems. May oversee temporary employees under certain circumstances. May represent the department at college meetings or functions. May perform dispatch functions. May be required to work overtime and/or be on call and to be able to respond to emergencies within a reasonable time. Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age. Graduate of an accredited, approved police academy and be a certified police officer meeting all the requirements for P.O.S.T certification in Tennessee. Meet the requirements of TCA 38-8-106 and TCA 38-8-107 Qualifications of Police Officers. Out of state applicants are required to meet Tennessee P.O.S.T certification requirements within six (6) months of hire. Prior law enforcement experience as full-time certified officer must be within the past three (3) years. Must attend and successfully complete, annually, a department authorized and P.O.S.T approved in-service training course consisting of forty (40) hours of instruction. Must have not been convicted of or pleaded guilty to or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substances. Possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license. Out of state applicants must obtain a Tennessee driver’s license within thirty (30) days of hire. Have good moral character as determined by a thorough investigation conducted by the employing agency; and/or the POST Commission. Pass a medical examination including vision screening and drug testing. Pass a psychological evaluation. Must successfully complete the department field training program within designated time frame. Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Criminal Justice or related field. Three years of law enforcement experience.

Vocal communication is required for conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound; visual acuity is required for night vision, peripheral vision, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/ or small parts, use of measuring devises, operation of motor vehicles or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work and observing general surroundings and activities. Work Environment: The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, noise, hazards and atmospheric conditions. Job Purpose:&nbsp;The Information Processing Specialist assists and advises students on all financial aid inquiries including account requirements, account status, SAP status, federal, state, local and institutional awards; conducts data entry of documents that are required for processing of student financial aid applications; reviews information for accuracy and completeness; and manages and maintains student financial aid records.
Essential Job Functions:

<li>Responsible for understanding and implementing the rules and regulations of federal, state, institutional, foundation, and agency financial aid to include approximately 17 different awards that apply additional rules to various types of aid.</li>
<li>Responsible for counseling students in reference to all areas of financial aid to include all student financial aid offers and balances of aid; withdrawal procedures and the consequences for satisfactory progress; repayment of aid; professional judgments; and appeal policies and procedures for all programs.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting and advising Senators Central, other campuses personnel on referrals and inquiries; assisting and/or advising students with financial aid inquiries; receiving the documents required for processing student financial aid applications through USPS mail, campus mail, fax or in-person, and ensuring all information is accurate and complete. Responsible for assisting with monitoring student enrollment and attendance; monitoring academic progress to ensure compliance with Title IV requirements; assist supervisor and other staff in reviewing reports; and reviewing Federal Work Study Time sheets.</li>
<li>Maintain office filing and general organization; order office supplies as needed through purchasing software; receive and process orders; input travel authorizations and purchase orders through purchasing software; and receipt all items necessary in purchasing software.</li>
