<br><h4>Introduction</h4><br>The DEEP Fisheries Division – CT Aquatic Resources Education (CARE) program has been teaching basic fishing courses and promoting environmental stewardship since 1986. In that time frame, over 250,000 citizens of CT have participated in fishing classes and events led by staff and certified volunteer fishing coaches.
