Job DescriptionThe Senior Counsel will play a key role in supporting both production legal and corporate legal matters. This position is responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including development, production, licensing, and vendor contracts, as well as conducting production clearance reviews and providing practical legal advice on Starz’s slate of original programming. This is a full-time grant funded position reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management. The Upward Bound Program Director is responsible for the development and administration of the Upward Bound Program, including hiring, training, supervising and evaluating project staff, fiscal management, project development and management, and liaison to the target area communities. The Upward Bound Director will also provide direct services to Upward Bound participants. 
Job Duties

<li>Manages and conducts all participant assessments to determine the extent of academic, personal, and academic or career counseling needs.</li>
<li>Develops grant proposals and budget.</li>
<li>Develops and maintain a receptive network with local TRIO programs, other youth-serving agencies and target schools, community agencies and postsecondary institutions in the target area.</li>

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Student Advocacy &amp; Support, the Coordinator assists in supporting day-to-day operations of the Center for Access, serving students with disabilities. The Coordinator will support the center’s student organization (L.E.A.D.), manage the ambassador mentoring program, and ensure students with disabilities receive the supports they need to be successful at Southwest. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Determine reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities.</li>
<li>Serve as an advocate for students with disabilities by providing appropriate resources and referrals in meeting their academic, developmental, physical, and social needs.</li>
<li>Provide layered support to students with disabilities in collaboration with Student Affairs and Academic Affairs to ensure equitable access to a quality higher education at SWTCC.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Testing Center to ensure student testing accommodations, as outlined by ADA guidelines, are provided.</li>
<li>Consult with faculty about the instructional needs of students; arrange assistive technology, individualized accommodations and/or appropriate academic adjustments (e.g. testing accommodations) for students.</li>
<li>Collaborate with student service offices such as admissions, orientation, and advising to develop intervention strategies to improve retention of students.</li>
<li>Prepare and conduct faculty/staff training regarding accommodations and other issues related to providing support for students with disabilities.</li>
<li>Assess individual needs of students based on analysis of IEP 504 plans, medical documentation, psychological assessments and/or other relevant information to determine eligibility for reasonable accommodations.</li>
<li>Network with service providers and help to identify appropriate supports for students.</li>
<li>Remain updated on legal issues, i.e., ADA, and adaptive / assistive equipment and technology.</li>
<li>Serve on the Accessibility Task Force; champion accessibility efforts at SWTCC.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in education, special education, counseling, psychology, human services, rehabilitation counseling, social work, or related area. 
</li>
<li>Knowledge of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and Section 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act regulations and guidelines. 
</li>
<li>A minimum of one-year experience working with students with emotional, physical, and/or learning disabilities.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of practices of disability services in the context of education 
</li>
<li>Knowledge of adaptive technology, and computer software for managing accessibility information 
</li>
<li>Banner or similar student information system experience</li>
