Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Electrical Test Engineer to work on our SMC Engineering &amp; Product Design team. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Specific Manufacturing Capabilities (SMC) desert-site facility with every Friday off. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing procedures for printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure their functionality, reliability, and quality. This role involves creating test plans and fixtures, performing comprehensive testing, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings. Additionally, the engineer will stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve testing processes while collaborating with design and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Design and Development: Develop test plans, procedures, fixtures, and automated scripts for PCB testing, including hardware and software solutions.</li><li>Testing and Validation: Perform and verify functional, environmental, and reliability testing on PCBs using various testing equipment.</li><li>Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze test data, troubleshoot PCB failures, and work with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve processes.</li><li>Documentation and Reporting: Document test procedures and results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain records of testing activities and equipment calibration.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, implement best practices, and provide feedback for product improvement.</li><li>Coordinate and collaborate with other engineers, planners, operations personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure the proper execution of testing activities.
