Job Summary
The Online&nbsp;Learning Compliance Specialist ensures that the institution’s online and distance learning activities meet all state, federal, and professional licensure compliance requirements. This position supports institutional efforts related to out-of-state educational activity authorization and licensure alignment for academic programs, including ongoing research, documentation, and communication with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. The Specialist will play a key role in maintaining the institution’s eligibility to offer distance education across state lines and ensuring transparency and accuracy in student-facing licensure disclosures. Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance. KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time 




Job Duties:
State Authorization and Licensure Compliance: Monitor, research, and interpret U.S. state and federal regulations regarding distance education and professional licensure for programs leading to licensure or certification. Maintain and update institutional records related to state authorization status and professional licensure disclosures. Serve as liaison to regulatory agencies and boards for authorization and licensure applications, renewals, and updates. Recommend policy or procedural changes to support ongoing compliance. Institutional Policy Compliance Support: Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborative partner for departments such as Financial Aid, Accreditation, Assessment, Academic Affairs, and Student Services on matters intersecting with distance learning compliance. Provide input on documentation and reporting for accreditation or audits as they pertain to distance education. Respond to internal requests for consultation or documentation related to distance learning compliance on an as-needed basis. Compliance Communication and Training: Create and maintain student-facing compliance disclosures for licensure programs on the institution’s website and learning platforms. Develop training materials and deliver workshops or presentations for faculty, staff, and administrators regarding compliance topics. Support the development of internal communications and guidance for distance education compliance matters. Institutional Collaboration and Support: Work with academic departments, deans, program coordinators, and instructional designers to identify out-of-state learning activities and licensure implications. Serve as a resource for academic programs planning new licensure-related offerings or modifying existing ones. Coordinate with Enrollment, Advising, Marketing, and Legal as needed to ensure consistent and accurate compliance messaging. Professional Development and Continuous Improvement: Stay current on national regulations and trends related to distance learning and professional licensure. Participate in relevant conferences, webinars, and professional organizations (e.g., WCET, SARA, NASASPS). Participate in state and regional distance learning and professional licensure groups. Propose and implement improvements in processes, workflows, and documentation system related to compliance. Perform other duties as assigned

Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive and strategic marketing plan for the athletic department to enhance the athletic department's brand with internal and external constituents.</li><li>Plan and implement the promotions and game day activities for select sports, with emphasis on men's and women's basketball.</li><li>Develop and execute a communications plan to maximize ESPN+ platform and build on the strong media coverage of USI’s move from Division II to Division I.</li><li>Promote athletic events within the University community, specifically to students, faculty and staff and external community (including alumni, boosters and families).</li><li>Work in unison with Student Affairs, Center for Campus Life (campus organizations), New Student and Transitional Programs and Housing and Residence Life to increase student attendance.</li><li>Enhance awareness of and fan participation in women’s athletic events.</li><li>Work closely with Athletics Administration/ticket operations to develop ticket/marketing plans for selected sports to promote fan attendance and generate revenue.</li><li>Assist in executing key USI branding initiatives that uphold the image of Athletics and the University.</li><li>Work collaboratively to implement the execution of strategic plans.</li><li>Facilitate departmental obligations in conjunction with various sponsorship agreements.</li><li>Identify new and creative means to attract new customers to various athletic events.</li><li>Manage the athletic marketing budget for all staffing, resources and purchases.</li><li>Build relationships with various organizations to strengthen the visibility of Athletics within Evansville and surrounding areas.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of marketing trends and best practices.</li><li>Manage the creation of all collateral materials, including posters, schedule cards, flyers, etc.</li><li>Develop and coordinate the dissemination of promotional information through various social media channels and new technology.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate marketing and fan engagement volunteers and student workers for home events.</li><li>Manage an advisory group to assess game day programming, consult on enhancing attendance and crowd engagement and consider adjustments on an annual basis.</li><li>Coordinate on-field and on-court presentations with various University and external constituents.</li><li>Write formats for home events to ensure proper execution of timing for public address announcer, band, cheer, promotions, etc.</li><li>Coordinate scripts for public address announcer for each home event - highlighting sponsors, describing promotional activities and upcoming events.</li><li>Act as department liaison for interaction/scheduling and coordination of Archie the mascot, and as the direct employee advisor for Archie’s Army, the student organization.</li><li>Facilitate various content requests from outside constituents.</li><li>Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Work in conjunction with the Director of Athletic Communications, Assistant Director of Development and Athletics Administration to create a harmonious Marketing, Media and Messaging Team.</li><li>Work in collaboration with University Strategic Communication to provide consistent messaging to University constituents.</li><li>Create year-round email/social media campaigns to campus and community groups.</li><li>Maintain athletic brand standards and protect intellectual property of USI Athletics.
