Job Summary
The Financial Assistant III performs a variety of financial operational duties, including student financials and departmental transactions, under general oversight. Ensures compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in the management of financial resources for the Knox Campus and provides support for district-wide operations as needed. 




Job Duties:
• Bills, collects payments, and counsels internal stakeholders on applicable financial processes and procedures. • Monitors, organizes, and updates purchasing card transactions, accounts payable/receivable transactions, fiscal records, and reports. Processes reimbursements and assigns funding codes in accordance with established rules, regulations, and policies. • Tracks vendor reports, records, and fund ledgers using established systems to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. • Drafts communications and reports, organizes records, and secures resources to provide administrative and financial support for campus operations. • Serves as cashier for student payments and departmental monies, ensuring accurate processing and recordkeeping. • Oversees collections billing for the Knox Campus and supports collection efforts as directed. • Acts as the accounts payable liaison for the Knox Campus, including processing vouchers, requisitions, and monthly bill payments. Assists with district-wide accounts payable tasks as assigned. • Serves as ProCard auditor for the Knox Campus, monitoring transactions for accuracy and policy compliance. • Maintains student accounts, including applying and releasing financial holds and resolving discrepancies. • Assists with student receivable projects and other financial assignments as directed by the supervisor. • Provides accurate, timely responses to fiscal questions from students, staff, and other stakeholders. • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the campus and college.

Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst IV&nbsp;provides support for the Payroll Tax functional area within Payroll Shared Services. Administers and maintains state tax setups to ensure accurate withholding and remittance in compliance with applicable state laws. Researches and interprets Department of Labor (DOL) requirements for various states and communicates findings to the Manager of Payroll Tax and Remittances to ensure organizational compliance. Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance. KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.




Job Duties:
Managing donor gift and pledge entry procedure from the initial data entry to final receipt for KCTCS Foundation and gifts made to KCTCS. Perform interim gift entry services for colleges. Working closely with Finance and relevant college departments for reconciliations and gift/pledge processes as well as various regular reports and data cleanup and management. Perform administrative duties such as gift adjustments and payroll deduction reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of system-wide gift records. Providing both regular and ad-hoc reports as needed by KCTCS System Office and Colleges. Assist with training end users on Advancement software and gift entry processes. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor . 




Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Library Science, Finance and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.&nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Library Science, Finance and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.




Additional Skills Requested:
The person in this position should have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The position also requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. Knowledge of fund raising principals and databases is a plus. Certifications or training in any formal fund raising program (e.g., IUPUI Center on Philanthropy, CASE, AFP), or Blackbaud certification in Raiser's Edge including fundamental level and the professional level certificates will be beneficial.

Job Duties:
As an adjunct faculty instructor, you will be required to teach assigned courses following the mode of instruction

<li>Hybrid (in person one day per week paired with online instruction, or standard online/asynchronous with no required in-person meetings).</li>
<li> Other duties include maintaining an updated gradebook on Blackboard, weekly announcements, and timely communication with students throughout the semester.</li>
