Provide guidance to the Senior Director of Student Success as it relates to new student orientation for general and specialized populations. Partner with Academic Affairs to promote and support the first-year experience program which leads students through the transition to college from high school or other milestone or circumstance that will teach students how to access college resources needed to be successful and how to transition from a community college to a four-year university setting or to a work environment. Oversee persistence, retention, and completion initiatives (i.e., Early Alert program) which are developed and maintained using historical and current data as well as best practices research, that provide the necessary intervention, service, and support for students in a timely manner which aids and encourages students to graduation or transfer. Work closely with Marketing, Communications, and Media Services to ensure short- and long-term marketing strategies align with enrollment and student success goals, the college’s strategic plan and the mission of the college which will assist in the development of communication strategies for a variety of market segments to address prospective and current students. Review and update regularly, in consultation with senior leadership and using appropriate data sources, the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan, ensuring that it aligns with the Strategic Marketing Plan, the College’s Strategic Plan and the mission of the College while adhering to the principles of equity and diversity.
